About Ivy
Ivy has always had an interest in the arts as well as the healing arts. She has been teaching yoga professionally since 2001. She completed her first yoga teacher training in New York City at Laughing Lotus Yoga School, her second in Thailand at Centered Yoga. She continued her studies in India. She teaches Vinyasa Style Yoga with a focus on alignment, yoga therapy and pranayama. She has studied with a wide array of well-respected yoga teachers including her guru, Om Prakesh Tiwari, a renowned pranayama master. She has written many blogs about yoga and health for: (concealed information) She continues to study yoga therapy and anatomy in New York City with Ellen Saltonstall, author of “Yoga For Arthritis” and “Yoga For Osteoporosis”
Ivy has taught yoga and pranayama workshops in New York City, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Thailand and Costa Rica and Buenos Aires.
