About Jan
We approach teaching yoga not as a one-size-fits-all, but rather with the perspective that yoga is for, accessible to, and benefits each and every Body.
We enjoy the ongoing journey of learning, practicing, and experiencing – because of, and with, our wonderful students!
Jan's yoga journey began rather casually in 1996 when she sought to increase flexibility & strength as well as reduce anxiety. She turned to yoga in a big way after contracting Lyme Disease in 2009, relying on a regular Iyengar-based practice to manage symptoms and to simply… feel her best! She became certified as a yoga teacher in 2013 with a huge desire to share the many benefits of yoga.
