About Kelly

Hi! I am a 500 hr Certified Yoga instructor with 4+ yrs experience in the yoga community, teaching at various local yoga studios and currently at the largest yoga studio in Northeast FL.

Also, I am insured, CPR certified and Yoga Alliance registered.

My special style is Yin-based yoga, all grounded poses but timed. I am very prop savy and condone multiple during practice. I'm not cultish or restrictive. I tailor to all body type levels. I also taught Mind Body (general flow class), restorative classes and Yin-related workshops.

Yoga has been a santity for me, an escape from the outside world. I enjoy helping people come in, timid of the word yoga - and later evolve to conqueoring other areas of the yoga world. Helping, empowering, breaking down the "reputation" of what yoga is (not the Hollywood view). I have a lot of stories of how yoga is more theraputic for the mental body, energetic, the spiritual body which all transpires through the physical body. This is about the yogi, not me. I love seeing people feel better after a yoga class, feeling lighter and being free of their true-self.

I am 500 hr certified. Currently over 600+ hrs of teaching rendered in Yoga Alliance.

I am currently American Red Cross CPR certified.

I have trained under Master Paulie Zink for Yin yoga basic training. He is the originator of Yin/Taoist yoga.

About the lesson

Consultation is first and most important. This is understanding the overall objective, needs and hopefully meeting expectations. Moving onto the mat, starting with the more basic levels. Understanding the importance of breath is what I stress, then everything else - body wise - will follow. Trust my system and I guarantee any yogi will catapult to higher yoga levels.
