About Heidi

As a NAMA-Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor, I meet people where they are at and help them find yoga, nutrition, lifestyle, mediation and wellness practices to assist bringing them back into balance. My background of 21 years experience working in the education system with adult, special needs and alternative students, combined with my skills in Ayurveda, Nutrition Education & Yoga affords me the unique ability to reach clients with accessible understanding and compassionate teaching.

Qualifications:

ERYT-500- Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher with nearly 15 years of yoga teaching experience; AAYS- Advanced Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist; Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist Trainer/Educator for the Himalayan Institute; National Ayurvedic Medical Association Certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor

Since 2008-Color Me Yoga Certified Master Teacher Trainer- teaching people how to teach yoga to children.

Since 2004-Creator/Owner of The Healing Tide~Yoga, Ayurveda & Nutrition- a wellness education service that offers workshops, trainings, classes and private sessions for seekers of mind/body/spirit wellness.

Since 2007-Co-Owner of Chill Yoga Studio, Lewiston, Maine

1996- B.A. in Arts & Humanities

I am passionate about helping seekers of peace and wellness find the right fit to bring themselves back into balance, and if in balance, how to improve upon their current state of health. As an educator, my passion is to instill deeper understanding about the self in each of my clients.
