About Desiree

Reverend Desiree Joy Sparrow is an Ordained Interfaith Minister with a diverse background in the healing arts and decades of experience as a Social Worker, Coach, Counselor, Teacher, Healer and Intuitive. Desiree specializes in Spiritual Guidance, Yoga, Wellness Coaching, Legal Cannabis/CBD Education, Mind-Body Fitness, Akashic Records Readings, Ayurveda, Vibrational Medicine and Energy Kinesiology.

Desiree's yoga training includes thousands of training hours in Yoga with formal training in the Anusara Yoga system; a system based on Tantric Philosophy & Biomechanics. Desiree has over 20 certifications, over 20 years of experience teaching and is also trained in Classical Hatha Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, Yoga Therapeutics and Yin Yoga.

Desiree is also the former owner and Program Director of The LI Kula Yoga & Wellness Center located in Bellport Village, NY. She works with the general public, special populations and celebrity clientele and has also been featured in Fitness Magazine, Essence Magazine, The New York Times as well as TLC's "A Baby Story."

I thouroughly enjoy connecting to people. I also love to empower individuals.

I have a degree in Social Work as well as thousands of hours of formal training in Yoga. I am a 500 hr E-RYT (Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher), through Yoga Alliance and teach students of all levels. I specialize in Yoga Therapeutics and also offer Health and Wellness Coaching. I am also an Ordained Minister.
