About Grace
I offer a balanced approach that includes centering in ease, connecting with peace and unconditional love while still engaging with and enhancing your strength and flexibility.
I love my students. I enjoy connecting and hearing about their lives, their goals, challenges, and wise insights. I enjoy creating yoga routines that challenge them and yet support them in care and balance.
I began practicing yoga in college through my single adult life and more during my pregnancy with my now 16 year old daughter.
I use yoga personally for healing and centering in this now moment. I extend this gift to my students.
I have been teaching for about 5 years in person and at fitness gyms. I have completed my 500hr teacher training. I continue to teach, study, practice, and embrace the wisdom in the room
I began developing fun creative physical education classes as a teacher at a private elementary school. I emersed myself in several certification programs and broadened my reach to include adults. I gained experience teaching private, small group, and large group Pilates, Yoga, Cycle, Water Aerobics, Yoga Dance, Pre and Post-Natal, and Parkinson’s, classes at LA Fitness and the YMCA.
I have practiced yoga for over 20 years: first in college, and then as a part of a workout routine that encompassed running and weightlifting. I practiced yoga throughout my pregnancy and used it to help recover from injuries, to enhance my spiritual practice and peace of mind. I completed my first yoga training after my daughter was born and have several fitness certifications for Yoga, Personal Training, Track Coach Training, and Group Fitness, including Kickboxing, Cycle, and Water Aerobics. I completeted my 200hr & 300 hr certifications with Yogamu/Bhakti Yogashala.

My clients share their fitness goals, experience, and any history of injuries or medical concerns. Based on this information, I plan a yoga class or other fitness workout tailored to their specific needs.
I work with students of all ages and abilities.
I have taught children, pre and post-natal moms, people with special needs, and seniors. Most of my clients are women over 40 who endeavor to increase their strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and overall feeling of health and wellness. Some of my clients are healing from injuries or releasing weight. Some are using yoga to help them sleep and alleviate anxiety.
What criteria will give me confidence that the instructor or coach has the qualifications best suited for me? (consider experience, specifically, experience working with people my age, certifications, continued learning, or perhaps online presence)
Approximately once a month I volunteer at Agape International Center and help to lead online viewers in a time of uplifting freestyle dance. During this time, we raise our vibrational frequency to a positive healing place, via the joys of dance. I am always delighted to “Dance with the Rev.” on Sunday mornings.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
1. What do I want to accomplish that I haven’t been able to achieve on my own?
2. How much have I budgeted for this type of self-care?
3. How often do I want to meet? Do I want to just do a "one -off" -one-time trial workout, or do I want to commit to my goal and schedule sessions two to three times a week? And for what duration, one month trial – see how it goes experience or 3-6 months for the goal-oriented committed person?
4. Do I want one on one instruction, group setting, or both?
5. Do I want to meet in the privacy of my backyard, over zoom, or in an outdoor public setting?
6. Do I want the instructor to come to me or am I willing to go to them?
