About Kareena
Offering a fun alternative to fitness. Belly dance is an ancient art that tranverses much of the world from North Africa to south western China. So many different techniques and styles offering endless enjoyment. Our classes focus on helping you to develop your own style. My greatest pleasure is seeing a student who has mastered the basic moves and can improvise from the heart.
Over 50 years in the safe practice of yoga. Learned yoga thru a book by Richard Hittleman.
Practicing postures took a new turn after meditating at a vipassana monastery. Mindfulness became core to my teachings. No chanting or praying. Just self observation to know the self from within
My studies of Ayurvedics gave me a rational approach to understand the workings of body,mind and spirit. And the ability to read individual doshas
