I’m an experienced tutor with over 3 years of helping high school and university students excel in math, science, and chemistry. With a Master’s in Engineering Science and a Bachelor's in Chemistry, plus hands-on experience as a scientist in the pharma/biotech industry, I bring real-world knowledge to my lessons. My Approach as a Tutor:
I believe learning should be fun and easy to understand! As your tutor, my goal is to make sure you feel confident and excited about what you're learning. I’ll work with you at your pace and make sure everything makes sense, step by step.
How I Teach:
Clear and Simple: I break things down into small, easy parts so you never feel overwhelmed. I explain tough topics in simple ways, using fun examples that relate to everyday life.
Active Learning: Instead of just listening, you'll get to try things yourself. I’ll guide you, but you’ll do the thinking, so you really remember what we talk about.
Patience and Support: I know everyone learns in their own way, so I always make sure you feel comfortable asking questions, and I’ll never rush you. We’ll go over things until you feel ready!
Typical Lesson:
Start with What You Know: We’ll review what you already understand and clear up any confusion.
New Concepts: I’ll teach you something new using fun examples or hands-on activities.
Practice Together: We’ll practice what you’ve learned so it sticks! I’ll help you work through problems and give you tips to remember the material.
Review and Wrap Up: At the end, we’ll go over everything again, and I’ll make sure you feel ready for the next lesson!
