About DrCil
I am a private tutor. I have a Bachelor's in Chemistry and Biology and a PhD in Neuroscience. I have a history of tutoring students online from when tutor.com was first created. Before that, I often tutored students successfully in person. I was a research scientist at Princeton University and Mount Sinai School of Medicine and now own and operate my own wildlife sanctuary (St. Francis Wildlife Sanctuary) in West Windsor NJ where I not only rescue wildlife and return them to their natural habitat, but I also educate the public and groups such as the scouts, about animals, science and our environment.
I have always LOVED teaching. I love being able to present material in a different way than their traditional teachers so that my students can have different approaches to learning the subject.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Biology, a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, three Biology Masters degrees and a PhD in Neuroscience, which is not only biological,, but is also a very mathematically related field.

I have the student tell me a little about themselves, ask a few questions and allow them to ask me a few questions about myself. I then try to get an idea about where they are in the subject, what their class and teacher expect from them, have them send me a syllabus and what they are having the most difficulty with. We take it from there!
