About Allison
Hi! My name is Allison Young and I am currently a junior at SDSU. I have an interdisciplinary major which means I basically have three majors: Biology, Psychology, and Special Education. I'm studying to become a Physician Assistant or a Special Education teacher one day. I have lots of experience with children, having worked as a tutor, peer mentor, youth cheerleading coach, and babysitter all my life. My service stands out because I am fun, reliable, and I work with your student to ensure they feel comfortable in a situation that may cause stress.
My favorite part about tutoring is definitely seeing a child's face light up when they finally understand something.
My experience includes working as a tutor for elementary schools, teaching in a 2nd grade class for a semester, and babysitting all my life. I have also been a youth cheerleading coach for three years and have volunteered over 1000 hours working with special needs children. Soon, I will be starting a job as a Special Education aide.

I like to get to know the student a lot first, not only academically, so I can get a feel for the best way they learn.
