About Megha
I have been tutoring for 7 years, and my absolute favorite part is seeing a student have a lightbulb moment after working through and understanding a concept or idea they have been struggling with. Often times a student is struggling because they don't understand a concept the way it is taught at school. Every student learns differently, and as a tutor I enjoy looking at each problem from multiple perspectives in order to figure out the best way to teach my students. It is a great way to work through the problem together. It is often times the best way for a student to learn, than simply giving them the answers.
I started tutoring in middle school in the elementary special education department. As I got to high school I started tutoring my peers ranging from high school level math (up to algebra 2), chemistry, and biology.
I am currently a student at Baylor University, pursuing a Biology degree on the pre-med track. I have already taken math classes up until Calculus B and Statistics 1, biology through Intro Bio 1&2, and chemistry up to Intro Chem 1&2. I have been tutoring for 7 years, and absolutely love it.

Every student is different, so for the first session I always like to start by getting to know the student a little bit. Learn about their strengths and weaknesses, as well as how they like to learn, so that I can do my best to personalize every lesson plan for each individual student.
I have worked with all types of students of all ages ranging from elementary to high school.
The most important thing to look for is to make sure the teaching style matches the learning style.
