About Emma
I have a background in problem solving and engineering with experience in high level math. I like to apply my creativity and problem solving abilities to adapting teaching methods to individual learning styles. I also provide the encouragement and support necessary to help students through tough challenges.
I am passionate about learning and helping others learn. I especially enjoy helping students develop the abstract problem solving skills necessary for success in math that are useful in many other areas of life. I thrive in a one-on-one teaching environment providing personalized tutoring to help build students' skills and confidence.
I have a BS in Architectural Engineering and excelled in high level calculus classes in college. I have experience tutoring fellow colleagues as well as students in lower level math classes.
