About Lily
I had one teacher in middle school that made math fun and exciting. She made me want to learn and be in class. I want to be that teacher for students who are in the position I was in back in middle school. I'm a college student studying to be a nurse. I care about people and want to help.
My family dynamic put me in a position where I had to, but I enjoy it.
I have 4 younger siblings and very busy parents. If my younger siblings were struggling, I was the one in charge of helping them learn.

First, I figure out what the student is struggling in. Then, we work out a few problems and teach them memory devices so they remember how to solve these types of equations. When I believe that the student has it down I'll give a short quiz to see if they retain what I've taught them. If they don't learn then I'll spend more time on their questions and see what else I could be missing on teaching them.
I've worked with special needs, and students with test anxiety. I always will find a way to help your child learn.
Make sure you get a teacher that can be flexible to your learning style.
Most recently, I went home for the weekend and my youngest sister had a Latin test coming up and I helped her with her vocabulary and spelling.
