About Corey
I was a Math Major, Education Minor at Rowan. I graduated Summa Cum Laude. I have been tutoring since high school, when I was a volunteer tutor through Cherokee's after-school program. In college I was a volunteer tutor with the Rowan Math Team. I have also tutored for friends and family. As an Education Minor, I also have teaching experience and knowledge of teaching strategies. I love math and I always look forward to sharing my knowledge and passion with my students.
Every time I tutor a student, I learn just as much as they do, if not more. Every student loans differently. I believe in allowing a student to approach a problem in his/her own way. My job as a tutor is just to fill in the gaps along the way. By the time we reach the final answer, I've learned a whole new way of looking at the problem.
