Justin has been tutoring my son for the ACT's. His help has been invaluable. Not only has he mentored him in the exam process, but he has helped him with application essays for summer college programs which proved to be very successful. My son was excepted into both the Harvard Summer College as well as the Steven Institute Summer Pre-College program. Justin was extremely helpful in the process.

After only two two-hour sessions working with Justin (over Skype! - so easy and convenient), my son scored 120 points higher on the PSAT. My tutor, Justin, was the perfect fit for me. I worked with him for many months and he continuously helped me improve after every session. He helped me get through extremely tough concepts pretty easily. He did work outside of the sessions, such as creating 20 page study guides based on my weak areas, which were very tough to make. These kept me on track for extreme improvement. Most importantly, he was extremely nice and enjoyed what he was doing which made me feel and act the same way. Through Justin and Gateway Prep, I enjoyed working and getting better on the SAT, which I never thought I would say.

Justin was a great support to me during my preparation for the SAT. He made availability around my schedule and committed many hours each week as the test got closer. He was patient, helpful with explanations and focused in the areas where I needed the most practice. Unlike prior tutoring experiences, when there is a math problem I don't understand how to do/interpret I feel like Justin is able to explain clearly where I am going wrong. I have seen a great leap in my math scores and I do think that is because I finally understand why I am getting problems incorrect.
