About LaVonya
My tutoring services ensure students succeed in their math courses. Not only will students pass their course and complete their assignments, they will have a full understanding of the content taught during the sessions. I’ve been helping students in math subject since I was in high school myself. I currently tutor Marines as they attend school while on active duty.
I’ve made the decision to teach when I was in the 9th grade. I started my research when I was in the 11th grade and ever since I’ve taken on each step towards becoming a teacher. I’ve had some pretty influential teachers as my example to help encourage my decision on becoming a teacher.
I am a current Education Major student are Ashord University. I am also an administrator in the United States Marine Corps who provides freelance tutoring services for Active Duty Military members.

Introducing myself which includes, a little of my background and work experience and also learn a little about the student to ensure student is comfortable with me working with them. I proceed to figure our what student is struggling with and solve one issue at a time. Once student understand the concept of said subject, we continue we repetition to ensure muscle memory before moving on forward.
I’ve worked with grade school students, high school students, and college students. I’ve only worked with 3 special Ed students while stationed in Japan and that was successful.
Ensure the teachers are a subject matter expert and ensure they are providing the exact services you are seeking; to include, great customer service, high level of patience, high professionalism, and tons of knowledge of said subject.
