About Mai
I am a recent graduate of UC Berkeley, where I majored in Neurobiology and Public Health. I graduated with Highest Distinction. I am also a pre-medical student and scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT. I have a 8+ years of teaching experience with a wide range of studnets (elementary school- college), most recently as a Teacher's Assistant for 2 college classes and as a mentor for a 4th grade afterschool science program. My speciality is Biology, Math and MCAT tutoring.
I have a passion for teaching, guiding students to reach the "aha" moment. I love the excitement and confidence each student builds as they become more comfortable with the topic at hand. I also love the mentorship component and building individual relationships with each student and catering my tutoring to what I believe will best fit their learning style.
