About Anne

I have had several years of accounting and math experience. I have volunteered tutoring for at least 2 years part time.

Seeing the "Oh!!! I get it now" response.

I've been tutoring here and there on the side for several years.

Bachelors in Accounting and Finance. Graduated Summa Cum Laude.

About the lesson

1. Introduction

2. Get started working on problems

3. I like to ask students a lot of questions to get them to think.

4. Through their own answers they figure out the problem themselves.

Middle school math students as a volunteer teacher aid.

Don't just look at credentials, but talk to the teacher and get to know their personality. Accounting and math are very important in the real world, it would be good to discuss real world application.

When you see a ' aha' moment.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Get to know that teacher's style first and make sure you are comfortable.

Anne Ward explains things with visuals , she tries her very best till you actually understand it . She helped me a lot by giving me real world examples to fully understand what she was teaching me . I learned more things on the daily with Anne Ward rather than my own Middle school . She is an amazing tutor !!!! Thank you for your time .
