About Frank

I understand that people struggle with numbers but that's alright. If at the end of the session my student hasn't learned then I've failed. Patience is key and unfortunately in school there aren't that many teachers that have it due to class to teacher ratio or due to time management.

The ability to teach and the student being able to learn/ understand is it's own reward

It started in middle school, my math teacher was an inspiration to me. To stand out from the rest of the teachers at my school and providing different ways to achieve my goal of learning. Ever since then I've just craved education, although I do judge the education system right now because of how it works and it's lack of its own system variables.

I have an associates degree in elementary education. I've participated in school not as a mentor but as an overseer to understand children's behavior and attention.

First I want to understand student how much my student knows. Then I can try to fill in the gaps and create problems that address the field that my student is struggling with.

I've worked with students from kindergarten to elementary. K-8

To understand that not every teacher might have the secret formula to understanding a specific subject. There's nothing wrong with looking for different tutors until you find a match.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Student should try to confront what they're struggling with. The worst thing you can do to yourself is failing to admit a mistake because it builds denial. Lack of commitment can worrysome too but just because it's difficult to learn doesn't mean it's impossible.
