About Sarah
I am a 4th grade school teacher. I love teaching math! I have been a teacher for 4 years and am very passionate about my students' success!
My favorite thing about being a teacher is witnessing the "Ah hah" moment when my studnets finally undertsnad content they had previously been struggling with. There is a certain light that shines when they arrive at that moment, and it is so rewarding to see and be a part of as a teacher!
I am a certified elemnetary teacher in Kentucky.
I am Kagan/Cooperative Learning trained.

When first working with a student, I get to them personally! Their likes, dislikes, hopes, goals, strengths, weaknesses, etc.
After I have built that relationship with a student, I get to know them academically using pre-tests, KWL charts, questionaires, etc.
Lastly, we get down to business. I create the rigor if the curriculum based on their academic level.
