About Michelle
I am here to volunteer, so my hourly rate is actually 0$ per hour :) Hello! My name is Michelle and I graduated from Grand Valley with a degree in Mathematics and Statistics. I have done Statistical research professionally, but am currently working in Actuarial.
I am looking to tutor in my free time because I have a passion for teaching and a love of Mathematics that I am excited to share. I would prefer to meet in public libraries to soothe my fear of stranger. I know how it feels to struggle with math and I hope I can spread a little good in the world so there is at least one less person struggling.
I recieved a Mathematics and Statistics degree from Grand Valley State University. I have passed three actuary exams so far: Probability, Financial Mathematics, and Investments and Financial Markets. I would like to think of myself as quite a pro in those areas as well.
