About Sofia
I work with a wide range of ages and math levels. I have experience tutoring K-12 students and entry-level college students. My services differ from others in that I provide educational material based on what the student covers in class while incorporating key mathematical concepts in everyday practice!
I find it extremely rewarding to see the kids I work with not only expand their knowledge in mathematics, but also find their confidence academically!
I started teaching at Mathnasium in high school when I realized my interest in helping my classmates understand math concepts better! I have thoroughly enjoyed connecting with students since and I love seeing them become more confident in their math abilities.
I have been tutoring grades K-12 throughout high school and now college. I have experience tutoring at Mathnasium and have taught a wide variety of math levels including pre-algebra, algebra I & II, high school statistics, and evening college level algebra & statistics.

Details
$20/hr is my starting rate for earlier math levels such as elementary math or pre-algebra. High school math and after, prices will rise according to class difficulty. (My maximum price is $25/hr.)
