About Quinn
I prefer to work one on one with students in person or online. Typically helping students to work through homework problems and helping them to figure out how to attack a problem that they are wary of. I find great pleasure in helping a student to find the answer showing they had what it takes all along, they just needed the right methods.
I have been tutoring college level engineering students for 3 years and enjoy it very much. I have some experience working with elementary level students which I also enjoy.
I started teaching by tutoring older students when I was in highschool! My family was well connected in the area and would often hear about seniors or college level students who needed help with calculus and algebra and thats where I came in.
I have a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Business, I have been working as a consulting and specifying engineer for 2 years, and I tutored many students throughout highschool and college.

I will typically start by getting to know them and how they feel about the subject we are tackling. This way I can taylor my apporach to their individual personality and feelings regarding schoolwork.
I have worked with 5th through 10th graders as well as college level students aged 18-27.
I would say try out a few different people and decide who works best with you! Ultimately it is up to you whether or not you enjoy the service.
