About Peter
I've been tutoring for the past 4 years, and I have primarily tutored mathematics and for standardized tests (SAT/SAT Subject Tests/ACT). I am a third-year Statistics major, and have a passion for helping people learn.
I had a 1520 on my SAT (35 on ACT), and I currently have a 3.61 GPA at UCLA.
College Courses Taken: Calculus I & II, Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, Programming in R, Regression Data Analysis in R, Probability Theory, Mathematical Statistics Theory, Micro and Macro Economics, General Chemistry I & II, and Organic Chemistry I
I have volunteered as a tutor at my high school for over 40 hours during my Junior and Senior year. I also never had below an A in a high school math course. I also scored a 4 on the AP Calculus AB Exam, and a 5 on the AP Statistics Exam.

I like to start with one hour sessions to properly assess how much help the student truly needs. I also typically ask them what they are currently learning in class and to see which topics they struggle with. From there I provide them with an example problem, solve it then make them work through the problems because the only way to get better is practice, as much as possible.
Mostly high school students, typically Freshmen and Sophomore.
Choose someone whom you're comfortable working with, someone you can trust, and someone who can make you eager to learn.

Peter was pivotal in my learning in both geometry and calculus as I transitioned from basic algebra. I am now in advanced calculus classes from his tutoring. He also advanced my knowledge in both the Spanish language and the English language, more specifically in writing structure and textual analysis.
