About Natalie
I'm a highly trained vocalist specializing in contemporary and musical theatre vocal stylizations. I have over 15 years of experience as a performer in musical theatre and am a senior at New York University (Music Theatre Vocal Performance B.M), where I serve as a teaching assistant for Music Theatre Workshop courses. I have 4 years of experience teaching voice to kids ages 7-15, especially in musical theatre stylizations!
I also have over 7 years of experience tutoring all levels of math, english, writing, science, and music.
For the past 7 years, I've tutored a variety of subjects:
AP level (calculus, statistics, chemistry, english lit/lang, microeconomics, physics, psychology), Honors and basic level (pre-calculus, algebra 1-2, english, music theory, science), as well as SAT prep and college essay writing.
I am about to graduate from New York University with a B.M. in Music Theatre Vocal Performance. I also have 4 years of experience teaching private voice and music lessons to children ages 7-15. I am a teaching assistant at NYU working with undergraduate musical theatre students on acting through song techniques.

My process with a student depends on their level of experience with a subject and their needs. As an academic tutor, I prefer to guide students through concepts and provide space for discussion/questions.
As an audition/vocal/acting coach, I use an expansive praxis to facilitate growth and exploration with regard for each individual students' needs.
