I really love math. Making math fun and insteresting for others makes me happy. While I teach math students get to see how enthusiastic I am about math. I also enjoy epiphany moment of students when I teach them something they never learned at school.
I started out with my siblings. Having younger siblings, made me teach them their topic. It made me realize I can help other students same way and reached out.
I've taught students of different age groups since my freshman year of high school. I also tutor after school at my school to my classmates. This year I am taking AP Calculus, which shows my ability in Math as it is the hardest math course available to a high school student at school.

As a student I know how hard it is to have a teacher that teaches you the best way you learn. I usually asses how the student learns which is their learning style. It determines my lessons and teaching plan I prepare for specific students. All these have been proved to work as it improves their ability to understand and consume the new topics or informations that are provided to them.
I worked with a diverse groups of students. Students with different backgrounds.
I'll tell them to look for a teacher that will understand them. If the student is bilingual then it will be helpful to have a bilingual teacher to help them understand in more than one language. The most important thing is the passion of teacher for the specific field.
I hosted a Computer Science workshop at CS fest back in December. Which helped me connect to proffesionals and other enthusiastic students who feel the same way towards Math and technology.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about the schedule a teacher might have and talk with them. They should not be nervous to ask them questions more focused on their careers.
