About Olivia
Hi, my name is Olivia!
I decided to become a tutor after helping my neighbor's anxious son with his math homework. I was able to work with him by being patient and finding the learning style that worked best for him. Now I tutor family members, friends, and coworkers.
I found I can work well with students that have school anxiety because I understand those feelings. Also, I don't mind students that tend to get a little frustrated while doing work. I know school is stressful and it happens sometimes :]
I am a biomedical engineering major at the Univeristy of Alabama at Birmingham. My major requires me to take many math classes which I enjoy throughly.

Olivia was my son’s tutor, and she did a phenomenal job! He has been struggling with certain aspects of math, and she was able to explain the steps to him in a way that he could understand it. It made a HUGE difference in his test scores as well as his homework frustration. He used to cry almost every day when it came time to do math homework, which was heartbreaking to see. I am so thankful she was able to work with him on his level in a kind, patient, and professional manner. I HIGHLY recommend her!
