About Ambika
Hello!! I am a student at Rutgers University Honors College and am currently majoring in Genetics. I have about 5 years of experience in tutoring and worked at Mathnasium very recently. I can work with students that need assistance in Algebra, precalculus, SAT Math and ACT math. Please contact me for any other questions!

I want to get to know you as a student. Let's discuss learning styles and what topics you are finding difficult in the class or topic. If this is for a school class, please provide a syllabus.
I have worked with students of ages ranging from 6 to 16. I have also worked with special needs students!
Introduce yourself, get to know your teacher and make sure your teacher gets to know you. Spend a session with the teacher and see if you are able to connect with them and if it fits your learning style. Everyone has different learning styles so it is important to make sure you have a teacher who can accommodate it.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Ask yourself questions like:
- Am I visual learner or am I a verbal learner?
If you do not know the answer to this question, that is perfectly fine! Try to think back to classes at school and think of which activities in each subject were the most challenging and which were the easiest to understand.
