About Ashley

I started teaching because my instructors believed in me. They saw my potential for teaching and helped me tap into it.

I am a certified Krav Maga and kickboxing instructor. I also have experience in jujitsu, Aikido, Kali, and judo

About the lesson

I believe in laying a good foundation for new students. Of course, my approach differs from student to student. Each student has individual needs or interests. I typically like to start with teaching basic striking techniques, stances, the basics of ground work and footwork.

I have worked with students from all ages, and all economical backgrounds. I have even worked with some special needs students. I believe that Martial arts is something that is beneficial for everyone.

Don't be afraid to ask questions. Don't be afraid to take some chances. Shop around and find the best instructor for you. Mind you, that doesn't automatically mean the guy with the most black belts. What I mean is, find an instructor who facilitates learning and communicates well with others. Also, try a bunch of classes. Best way to find a good instructor is to just take classes until you find the one that suits you.
