About Nikkya

I enjoy writing poetry. Expressing how you feel through words. Putting sentences together to paint a picture. I also know asl (American Sign Language). And I love to draw... don't know how that helps with English but okay! 😁😁

I remember growing up young ones they claimed, never really had problems. They had life good because everything was provided for them. I had encountered a lot of trials as a child. And i bottled up everyone and honestly was about to self destruct . However one teacher in high school inspired me through poetry and English literature. That I can be anything. I can do anything. I can express

myself publicly or anonymously. And free myself and cultivate a love for the English language. I want others to experience that too!! It’s what kept me going. Seeing the joy that people got from reading my words. Going to events and participating in contests. Dare to dream with words!!

I've no professional work but I do assist with teaching my nephews now. As well as in the past helped a few persons to complete college styled essays.

About the lesson

First, I try to get to know the student. This gives me insight on how t better help the student, what examples to use that would better get my point across. I believe that familiarity would create a peaceful environment to which the student can express themselves and feel free to asked questions if need be.
