About Dylan
Hi I am Dylan! Having sat my own IGCSE exams in late 2023 earning an A* in English Literature, I know firsthand how intense the exam pressure can feel, but also how rewarding it is when concepts finally click.
I’ve always had a huge passion for storytelling, creative writing, poetry and digging deep into what makes great writing work. Outside of tutoring, I love writing, poetry as well as songwriting which is a passion I bring directly into my lessons to make literature feel engaging rather than a chore.
My goal isn't just to drill mark schemes, but to create a relaxed, patient space where learners feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building genuine confidence in their writing.

Specialized 1-on-1 English Language and Literature tutoring for Year 10 and 11 students. I evaluate each student's unique strengths and challenge areas to create tailored and structured lessons. Together, we’ll build solid foundational skills, boost exam confidence, and develop a genuine understanding of literary texts.
I believe that there is no such thing as a bad student, only a teacher who doesn't understand them.
