About Sara

As an educator who has worked on education programs in East Africa and Central America, I bring a diverse and multicultural mindset that will help your child.

I am a life long learner who is energized by working with students and seeing their improvement.

Masters in Education from the University of Pennsylvania.

I have my master's in international education from the University of Pennsylvania. I am a curriculum developer for programs in other countries, and a former teacher.

About the lesson

Talking to the parents to see what the goals and expectations are.

Talking directly to the student to see what they need help with and to get to know what they like outside of school to motivate them.

Set up an action plan with the student and work through it step by step to set up healthy habits.

I have worked with students from private schools, low-income communities, and out of school youth.

Find someone who you can laugh with and who will push you.

I have just finished my 10th book of the year. My goal is 40 books in 2020.
