About Brian

I have a PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry from Case Western Reserve University in the United States. Before becoming a tutor I worked for about 15 years as a university lecturer in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. I worked both in this country and in Kuwait. Personally I am friendly and approachable. I always encourage my students to reach their goals and fulfil their potential.

About the lesson

I have been a private tutor for the last 14 years. In that time I have taught hundreds of students. Many of them have gone on to study Medicine, Dentistry, Biological Science or other subjects at top Universities both in this country and abroad. I teach A level Chemistry and Biology. I also teach university level Biochemistry or Medicinal Chemistry. In my lessons I use problem sets and have special emphasis on past years exam questions. I cover all of the exam boards (AQA, OCR, Salters, Edexcel, IB, CIE). I try to make my lessons fun and enjoyable. I am happy to give the first lesson free. I am always available to discuss the students' progress with parents.
