About Erica
Learning a lot of subjects at once can cause a massive headache for students. I, a recent college graduate, know how hard it can be to manage gen. ed classes while trying to pursue your interests. As someone who has had diversified educational experiences, I can help assist in an array of subjects. Being my career is in design and I teach dance classes at night, I can help with writing, designing, geography, and dancing. I won various design excellence awards in college and am currently pursuing my NCIDQ certification for deisgn.
I work directly with teachers as I design K-12 schools. Education starts at the designed space and ends at the lessons and actual learnign being set forth. I am passioante about the education system and want to help in any way I can.
I have a Bachelor's degree in Design that not only harnesses creative expression but also allows me to strengthen my writing and public speaking skills. Design and Architecture directly relate to the environment so it is important to study geography.

I start by assessing their needs and goals. Together we build a schedule or process that works best for their goals. I try to get an idea of how they learn (visual, tactile, etc.) and go from there.
In the past, I have helped mostly elementary level students and tutored a small amount of college level students.
