About Gianna

I graduated with a Bachelor's in Biology from FIU in Miami where I also conducted research in Neuroimmunology and Drug/Alcohol Dependence. In addition to being able to tutor students in general biology studies daily, this experience has equipped me to assist students daily with scientific abstract writing, literature searches, and journal club preparation.

I am now studying to become a pharmacist at a top 10 pharmacy program in the nation and am in my third out of four years in the curriculum; therefore, I have offered my pharmacology and NCLEX prep knowledge/tutoring services to nursing and pre-nursing students. I have always been very knowledgeable in general reading, writing, and grammar related areas as well.

I have been an independent tutor for a long time for students at my undergraduate university, and now continue to tutor students when I am not in school or working in the pharmacy.

- Four year Bachelor's Degree in Biology

- Extensive Research experience and an author of multiple scientific publications.

- Practical and Academic Pharmacy/Health-care related knowledge and experience.

- Experience tutoring students in all subjects offered: such as Biology and related topics, general/scientific writing and editing, pharmacology, and test prep.

About the lesson

1) Assess the student's understanding/perception of the material, and learn the student's goals.

2) Ask the student what they expect from each tutoring session.

3) Gather any class material that the student prefers to use, or search for material to provide for the student (depending on student preference).

4) Meet with the student either online or in person at a mutual study spot in the community.

5) Repeat until the student succeeds!

Make sure your tutor is highly educated (i.e. in a graduate program at least) and geared toward your needs.
