About Alexandra

I help students find their writing voice so they can express themselves more powerfully, enjoy writing and speaking, and learn to write with ease. As students master writing through tutoring, I love watching their confidence increase and their creativity flow!

As a Yale PhD, I taught at Yale University, University, University of Pennsylvania, Quinnipiac University, and tutored kids from Hopkins and Choate before moving to Florida. My Florida students have gone to Lighthouse Elementary, Palm Beach Atlantic, Florida Atlantic, and universities all over the U.S and Canada. I have worked with students from elementary to graduate school.

I am comfortable working with: writing, humanities, social sciences, history/social studies, Italian, philosophy, psychology, marketing, art history, and film studies. I find students in new areas of the humanities every month so just reach and out and ask me. If I can do it, I will! I also do school and university application essays.

My favorite part of this work is watching students befcome confident, capable of critical thought, and bold in their own writing and speaking voices. It is rewarding to see how powerfully they can express themselves, and exciting to see their acceptance letters. When they do can do their work without me, I know my work is done! :-)

English lessons offered by Alexandra are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Jupiter. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
