About Anna

I am a third year English-History double major at UC Davis, and as such I have a *lot* of experience with academic writing. I love all forms of writing, and I am always excited to see students master the formalities to make academic and creative writing their own!

I am a UC Davis third year, and have worked as a lifeguard, swim instructor, climbing guide, rafting guide, and caretaker. I have also been lucky enough to volunteer in a second grade classroom and intern with the Sierra Club. Overall, I've just gotten to hang out with a lot of cool people who really care about what they do, and that's become my M.O. too!

About the lesson

I like to get to know students a bit, and to find out what their interests and unique perspectives are before diving into tutoring. I find that with writing, a student's personality shines through with every assignment, so it's important to get to know where they're coming from!

Details

I charge $35 an hour for one kid, and $49 for two. I typically don't work with more than two kids at a time, as I think with writing, it's especially important to get 1-on-1 time to talk out ideas.
