About EmmaKate
I started tutoring my second year in college (2019). I graducated in 2021 with my 4 year degree in Elementry Education. While I mostly teach Elementry level subjects I have helped students in 6th, 7th, and even college levels.
I love helping concepts and ideas click for students. No school subject should make you despise school, and sometiems we just need that extra push in order to feel most confident!
I graduated with my BS in Elementry Education in 2021. I have tutored intermediate collage math, 5th grade and below math and english, as well as provided help with essays and spelling.

The first time I work with a student I like to help them with a homework assignment. Sometimes this is exactly what a students wants, just help understanding a few assignments. After understanding what a student needs I like to use their intersts when possible to encourage interest in language arts. Sometimes we read articles, sometimes we read books they like, other times we work on spelling words from school and add a few fun words from their favorite stories. I like to work with the student.
