About Sarah

I love working with children and am very experienced in tutoring elementary school-aged students as well as middle school and high school. I have tutored students from first grade to college-aged in creative writing, literary analysis, test-taking, poetry analysis, paper editing, history, biology, theatre, beginning Italian, Latin, and many more!

I am a college student at Sarah Lawerence College and graduated in the top 10% of my class. I have worked extensively with students as young as 6 and as old as 20. I babysit over the summers and tutor the children in basic math and writing and worked as a high school tutor with my peers in science, English, history, and math.

About the lesson

I assess what their current skills are and decide how best to improve the skills the student already has. Then, I try to understand where the student is struggling and help them work through the issues step by step.
