(concealed information) website/assets/images/tmp/tutors-2021.png

As a nurse and honors student, I love helping other people! It brings me great joy watching people succeed and achieve their goals.

Bachelor of Science in Psychology received from Tulane University in 2019. I also minored in Spanish.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing received from Emory University in 2020. I graduated with a 3.9 GPA and was on Dean's List all four semesters. I am a member of Sigma Theta Tau, an international honor society for nurses.

About the lesson

I like to chat with the student briefly to identify areas of strength, areas of weakness, and develop a plan as a team to optimize academic success. I also like to speak with the parent or guardian (depending on the age of the student) about the student's areas for improvement!

I have tutored 5th grade Math, Science and English.

I would advise you to meet with the tutor beforehand to make sure you two are a good fit for one another! I am happy to do free consultations via phonecall or zoom/skype prior to our first session.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What do I want to improve on?

What do I struggle the most with? (i.e. time management, creative thinking, abstract thinking)

What obstacles or challenges prevent me from succeeding?

What are my goals? (i.e. improve my GPA, get an A on my next test, finish my essay)

Anna has been a fantastic tutor for my 12 year old son, Jacob!!! She is very reliable and flexible when we needed to reschedule! She helped my son with both English and Science (7th grade). Jacob mainly needed help completing his homework and studying for tests/quizzes and any time remaining in the session was spent getting ahead on assignments! I definitely recommend Anna for tutoring at any age. She is extremely knowledgeable and such a sweetheart!

Ms. Anna was a fantastic tutor. She made the session feel personal and as if we were in purpose rather than over the computer. It was clear she knew what my needs were and were able to meet them
