About Darrell

I know what it feels like to love art as a child and now to work as an artist.

I enjoy how creativity has no limits. Art is everywhere!

In 2016 I attended Ringling College of Art and Design as an Illustration Major, and graduated in 2020. During my time there I met a group of amazing artists and learned how to enhance my knowledge and eye for the subject matter. Not only did I learn how to enhance my art, but I learned how to make it come to life through composition, color placement, line weight, storytelling and many other valuable skillsets that makes an illustration all the more captivating.

In 2022, I started working as a caricature artist at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I received training on the unique style of the caricature artist at the resorts and park.

About the lesson

Going through the fundamentals is key. First, I will understand what kind of artist they are and what they really like to draw whether its people, nature, animals, cartoons, superheroes, anime characters, video game characters and more. Then I will aid them in the basics such as shapes, textures, color theory and many other valuable drawing principles. By learning each of these skillsets combined with engaging in the passion and motivation behind the art will not only enhance the individuals creativity but their imagination as well.
