About Rachael
Hello! I am an artist who has several years of experience in acrylic painting, drawing, and watercolor. I also have a few years of experience in sewing and fashion illustration, and have attended the Fashion Institute of Technology. I have won awards for both fashion design, illustration, and the fine arts, and I am extremely passionate about being able to teach others!
I have studied fashion illustration and the fine arts at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and have studied painting at small studios.

I first assess what the student is looking to work with - including the medium, the style of art, and if they are looking to be able to paint a particular subject. After this, I go over the basic techniques of the given medium, with some exercises to help the student learn. Once basic techniques are established, I will guide the student into creating full pieces, establishing more complex techniques and styles along the way.
