About Janet
I have a unique way of getting aspiring artists that encourages them to focus on value initially. I also make the classes fun and interactive. I guide students with a demonstration as they try out the new process along with me. My process allows students to create work they like right away!
I have a degree in Art Education.

I like to start working with a student by finding out what they want to get out of the lessons---their goal. Then, I discuss my process and we get started working on a piece, usually working from one of my reference photos, or if they want to start with one of theirs. I progressively work through at the student's pace, providing new learning each time we meet. I recommend they work from their own reference photos.
