About Nadia

My curriculum is adaptable and is developed based on my student’s skill level and interests. Students move at their own pace collecting the tools they need in order to become confident and independent artists.

Watching my students developed a strong relationship to their own artistic practice. Creating an environment that allows my students to access new skills at their own pace.

I have been teaching fine art to ages 4-adult for over three years. I work as a logo designer and free-lance illustrator for film and marketing organizations.

About the lesson

I find out what their specific interest are. Do they want to draw and paint realistically? Do they want to relieve stress and improve focus? Do they want to explore conceptual art. Then we work together on projects that emphasize their interests and build off of their specific learning styles and skill level to create a tool set for making their own unique artwork.

I work with typical 4-18 year olds in group settings and 1:1. These classes are based on their skill level and age. I also teach special needs students and students who have physical requirements.

I would recommend trying out a lesson in person to see if your learning style fits well with your new teacher. I would think about the artwork you have done on your own without instruction and figure out what you would like to gain from working with a teacher.

One of my students displays her work in cafes and gallery spaces and I love attending events with her. We always feel like having a community to share her work with motivates her artistically.

Fist lesson is free! After that I use a sliding scale based on income and lesson time. My students tend to pay anywhere from 15-40 dollars per lesson.
