About Christine

I offer my unique perspective and training in the field of fine Arts. My home is a special place for immersing in the beauty of art and nature. I take my students on adventurous Plein air Art Hikes by my creek and hillsides, personalized art lessons in any medium you can think of.

I am a master painter and portrait artist, have worked with sculpture, installation art, and much more.

What's not to enjoy! I love continually learning about my craft, sharing my knowledge and love of art with others, explorning art & design through nature, and making my own materials! (I'll teach you too!)

I am a Fine Artist, and a Homeschool mom- so I am already familiar with teaching my own children. I was active in a local co-op and was teaching art lessons to their children. So I transitioned to teaching art for a local Charter school...and the rest is history! I guess you could say I found out I absolutely LOVe teaching, and live for teaching art to others.

I have a BA in Art from FCC, I took most of my art courses to Advanced, and received a 4.0 all around.

I was trained in oil painting, life drawing, design, sculpture and mural art as well. I received first place awards and publications of my artwork as well. My mural painting is still on the walls of FCC College.

I was also featured in local Art Galleries. I currently have my own school for teaching art to children, and run Art Hikes for Charter schools. I also teach through CLRC(Classical Learning Resource Center) online.

About the lesson

I have a plan, but I completely talor your private lessons to meet your artistic needs. Whether you'd like to focus on painting, drawing, or learning to make your own materials- I love introducing my students to new concepts and teaching them all about the design and composition process.

I have worked with children grades pre-school through highschool, as well as with Adults!

I would Advise them to ask for a free trial art class in their favorite medium! You get to learn so much about the teacher just spending an hour learning in person.

I am fond of Art Hop! Also, my own evernts...I take children and adults on Plein Air Painting hikes, it's so much fun!

Details

I do have standard pricing, I charge $20.00 per hour. Most of my classes are weekly, and last 1-2hours each.
