I like to start with a very casual session and work in an open-ended capacity with each student to explore what their desires and intentions are for their art, and to get acclimated with the materials we will be using and gauge their acquired and natural abilities. My goal with each person I interact with is to help them find their own passion within their art and to assist them in becoming more comfortable and knowledgeable with themselves in relation to their art.
