About Ricardo
I have been a painting instructor for 6 years and have taught various age groups and experience levels.
I love to encourage anyone to develop a skill in art regardless of their experience. Art is about finding an outlet for expressing our innermost feelings and experiences.
I started teaching art at Painting with a Twist
I started drawing and painting when I was 3 years old. I then took various Art classes throughout Elementary school. Although I am mostly self taught by observing nature, I have been slightly influenced by many artists from fine art to street art and even in other realms of art such as dance and music. I also studied art at the Internaltional Fine Arts College and Miami Dade community College.

First I like assess the desire of the student as to the subject of the painting. Then I like to see what level they are at the moment. Then I will work according to weather they require elementary understanding of dimentions, proportions, shadows, colors, etc.
I have worked with students from little or no experience all the way up to advanced techniques
First, look for a teacher that will encourage you to develop your skill. Second, find a teacher that you resonate with their work. and Third, someone that can explain the information in a way that you can understand.
