About Andres
Me llamo Andrés López. El español es mi lengua materna y puedo comunicarme bastante bien en inglés. «Mi objetivo es construir una buena base en el estudiante; quiero que adquiera unos fundamentos sólidos en dibujo, perspectiva y composición: herramientas que podrá utilizar más adelante, a lo largo de toda su vida como artista».Crítico académico de arte especializado en análisis visual, revisión de portafolios y orientación artística en español. Trabajo con estudiantes de arte, artistas emergentes y aspirantes a programas académicos, ofreciendo retroalimentación profesional sobre composición, coherencia conceptual, técnica pictórica y desarrollo de la identidad visual.
My name is Andrés López. Spanish is my native language, and I can communicate quite well in English. "My goal is to build a strong foundation for the student; I want them to acquire solid fundamentals in drawing, perspective, and composition—tools they will be able to utilize later on, throughout their entire life as an artist." I am an academic art critic specializing in visual analysis, portfolio reviews, and artistic guidance in Spanish. I work with art students, emerging artists, and applicants to academic programs, offering professional feedback on composition, conceptual coherence, painting technique, and the development of a visual identity.
When I arrived at the United States I began the pursuit of my goals and like all beginnings for an immigrant painter I began to paint anything that was requested from him like a still life, a landscape or a portrait.
Later in 1999, I devoted Myself to painting murals and decorative effects. Then in 2003, I received American citizenship. And one year later I created my own corporation called Artistic Illusions Painting, Inc. registered in the state of Florida.
Today I paint and teach in Miami for a living "My goal is to build a good foundation in the student, I want them to have a solid foundation in drawing, perspective and composition, tools that they can use later throughout their lives as artists".

Excelente.
At the beginning of the class he explained the elements of design such as perspective, linear, atmospheric, value, shapes, which not all teachers take the time to do that. He also went over the composition, center of interest. He also talked to us about the materials. He brought a slide presentation of the different easels, and equipment for Plein Air painting. He was extremely thorough.
