About Raul
I am a practicing trans-disciplinary artist with a Bachelors degree in Sculpture and New Genres and a Masters degree in Fine Art Public Practice from Otis College of Art and Design. I will teach you not only how to create art but first and foremost how to think as an artist. I have taught youth for more than 25 years and have exhibited internationally. I have been teaching since the early 1990's. I have taught mostly youth, at risk youth and incarcerated youth. I have also taught in graduate programs and taught in colleges. I have exhibited nationally and internationally. You could look at my website for more information, (concealed information)

I need to know a students values. For example, I want to go to art school, or I want to learn how to draw realistically or I want to be a famous artist, then I could help them get there. I am more like a coach, some people want to run a 10 minute mile and some want to run it in 5. I will push a student as much as they want to be challenged. I think it is most important for a student artist to learn how to think, problem solve, respect the discipline and communicate and contextualize their work effectively.
