About Alexis

Hello there! I am an instructor in visual and fiber arts with 10 years drawing experience and 5 years crochet experience. My philosophy in art has been to spread joy and make people smile, and my goal as a teacher is to help my students build their skills to accomplish their own goals. I always begin by assessing where my student is starting and what his or her goals are and focus on lessons that work towards building the skills and confidence needed to get them where they want to be, whether that involves crocheting cute dolls or sweaters, or drawing portraits, comics, or caricatures.
